I've used hearing aids for about 20 years.  It got to the place where I left them in their case at least 90% of the time.  Whenever I would go somewhere special I would put them in, but after a short time I would take them out again.  They not only amplified what I was trying to hear, but all the background noise as well.  I also had the feeling of being plugged up all the time.  I couldn't ride in a car with the window down because all I could hear was wind and road noise and nothing else.

With my new aids from Manan I can hear alot better.  I can now carry on a normal conversation with someone in a noisy area without all the background noise.  I can ride in a car with the window down and hear the radio or carry on a conversation.  I don't feel like I'm plugged up, I feel normal!  Most of the time I forget that I have them in.  These are the most comfortable hearing aids I have ever worn or even tried.  My hearing has improved dramatically.  I wear glasses and chose the over the ear type hearing aids and have no problems wearing both together.  I just put them in in the morning and take them out at bed time.  These aids are so comfortable I almost got into the shower with them.

I know these aids are more expensive than other types, but I wouldn't sell mine for any price.

As far as Manan Hearing Care is concerned, they are extremely dedicated to making any adjustments necessary to fit my lifestyle.  They have been easy to work with and dedicated to my complete satisfaction.  I would do business with them again.

After years of failing hearing, my wife finally convinced me to get hearing aids.  I first checked the ads in the paper and then investigated them on the internet.  Next, I went to all the national brand hearing aid dealers in the Terre Haute and the surrounding area.  They all pretty much told me the same thing, that my hearing was such that I would benefit from the use of hearing aids.  All recommended digital hearing aids and the prices were pretty much in the ball park with one another.  Eventually I ended up at the Manan Hearing Care office.  Although their recommendation was similar to the other local offices, their prices were significantly lower.  What really made me decide to buy my hearing aids from them was their friendliness, professionalism, and their willingness to work with me, to make sure that I was satisfied.  They took the time to get to know me.  It is a family business and they welcome you in as part of their family.  I am very pleased with my hearing aids and the service they continue to provide to me.
